Practice makes Perfect!

Here are some ideas of exercise and dance practice:

  •  Rotate your ankle in the form of the ABCs on both feet
  • Do 20 calf-ups each day (stand up then raise and lower yourself by raising and lowering your feet)
  • Strengthen your core by doing crunches or sit-ups
  • role your ankles before going up on point!

  • Stretch regularly (warm up before you ever stretch)
  • Pointe and flex your foot using a therapy/yoga strip
  • Roll your ankles regularly
  • Stretch your splits about three times a day if you ever want to make it all the way down
